Artown Milano
ARTOWN MILANO
The project, developed by Daniele Fiori’s DFA Partners studio in collaboration with Boffa Petrone & Partners and marketed exclusively by Oneshot Real Estate Solutions, which will also assume the role of Advisory, involves the recovery of an old industrial building in via Crollalanza and the creation of a residential complex on three levels made unique by the intervention of the artist Vincenzo Marsiglia, who will transform the spaces of the building into a synthesis between light, sign and matter, with the curatorship of Beatrice Audrito.
The architecture of Artown will stand out for a harmonious dialogue between traditional and modern elements, embellished with lush terraces with trees and plants that will frame the creative idea of the multifaceted Marseille, an established artist on the international scene, who opened the latest edition of the Moderne Art Fair in Paris, illuminating the Champs-Élysées with his art.
Inside the new Artown, thanks to a clever game of perspective, Marseille will transform the two internal corridors into a cathedral of light capable of inspiring those who live and pass through these spaces on a daily basis. Outside, the patios and terraces will host bright and habitable sculptural works, to offer an intimate space for regeneration and reflection, making each home exclusive with a dedicated work of art. The works created by Marseille for Artown will be characterized by a simple graphic symbol, in the shape of a four-pointed star, called “Marseille Unit” (UM); an iconic and distinctive element of his research that the artist will decline in different solutions, techniques and materials, following the echo of the great masters of abstractionism and minimalism who have marked the history of art with the search for rigor and balance.
