A NEW BUILDING THAT COMBINES PERFECTLY IN THE AREA’S POST INDUSTRIAL STYLE, BUILT IN ENERGY CLASS A WITH THE MOST INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

THE CONTEXT

This part of Milan is a former industrial area that in the last thirty years, since Giorgio Armani decided to establish his headquarters in Via Bergognone, has become a reference point all over the world for fashion and design. This redeveloped and enhanced area is also one of the most sought-after residential neighborhoods in the city, an area where you can live peacefully at any age.

Via Tortona and Via Savona enclose one of the most international and fashionable districts of Milan, where people from all parts of the world come together to work and live. Around a number of well-known fashion & design showrooms, built inside former factories, there is a district full of services, restaurants, trendy clubs and refined boutiques that attract many young people, while the best schools in Milan, the modern sports facilities, advanced recreational services, the many shops and supermarkets throughout the area, make this neighborhood very attractive also for families. Today the area also houses some of the most innovative and interesting museums in the city such as the Mudec, the Giorgio Armani museum and the Laboratories of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. A stop on the new M4 line of the Milan Metro will be located a few steps from BLOC Savona.

THE PROJECT

The new building that will rise in front of the Via Savona design district will be divided into two individual buildings: one more external and one more internal, connected by a large communal garden. The innermost body will develop four floors above ground, while the outermost one is six. The garages will be located in the basement.

BLOC Savona will present a brick facade typical of the post-industrial context that hosts it. The housing units will be divided into comfortable two-room and three-room apartments all with balconies and in some solutions large terraces will also be built. Fine finishes and particular attention to efficiency and energy saving (energy class A) will ensure maximum comfort and elegance to the apartments. Finally, the use of the most advanced home automation technologies will allow you to experience your home by taking advantage of innovative comforts and services.
